Stay & Play Group
Monday Term Time Only | 9.30 - 11am | £1.00 per family
A welcoming and friendly group for under 5's and their parents and carers in the hall at The Henry Brown. Run by Vicky from Crescent View pre-school and our team of volunteers, with and regular visits from the West Howe an Kinson Family Hub. This group provides fun for the little ones, a cuppa for the adults and signposting support on local services for children and their families.

Andy's Man's Club
Mondays | 7-9pm | FREE
Andy's Man Club want to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and create a judgment-free, confidential space where men can be open about the storms in their lives. Every Monday from 7pm to 9pm Andy's Man Club open their doors at The Henry Brown providing a free-to-attend peer-to-peer support group. Green Fingers Gardening Club
Tuesdays | 10am - 12pm | FREE
Enjoy the outdoors and get involved in practical conservation and growing at The Moore Avenue Park Wildlife Garden and The Henry Brown Community Garden. No gardening experience required and all tools provided. Free hot drinks provided. Meet at The Henry Brown Centre, Tuesdays from 10am. Men's Shed (without the shed!)
Tuesdays | 12pm - 2pm | FREE / small donation for optiolunch
Join in with this social group of guys, share ideas, plan projects together and learn new skills. Activities we've done include cooking sessions, installing blinds and maintaining the community garden. An optional lunch is served in the Cafe for all the guys. Don't feel like getting involved in projects, simply make the most of the free pool table and dart board and meet new people.

RCA Cheerleading

Are you having a sort out or considering a tip run? Reduce your impact on the environment while saving money. Bring your unwanted, good conditioned items for the public to take home or simply browse and see what you can take home for free! Clothing , Shoes, Toys, Baby equipment, Linen, Kitchenware, Homeware, pet items, small working electricals, bric-a-brac. No large items of furniture please. Drop off to our volunteers on the day 12pm to 1pm. Open to the public for browsing and taking 1pm to 3pm. Free entry, Refreshments, free parking and disable access.
