Hours Full-time 37 hours

Vision: West Howe Community Enterprises are recruiting a full-time Community Development and Volunteer Manager to work with the community to improve the quality of life for people in West Howe through social events and capacity building. This will be done by creating opportunities to connect, be active, learn, give and raise awareness.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, core office hours with occasional evening and weekend work as required. Based at the Henry Brown Centre with remote working as appropriate.
Role of the Community Development and Volunteer Manager:
- Lead on community engagement in the work of WHCE so activities are developed which reflect the needs of and strengthen the local community
- Ensure volunteers deliver across all functions of the organisation as appropriate, are supported to develop their own skills and benefit from their involvement in WHCE
- Working closely with the Activities and Skills Coordinator, ensure the smooth management of the building
